Working closely with the wider Accounts team, you'll provide essential administrative support while delivering excellent customer service to customers, suppliers and colleagues. Key Responsibilities for an Accounts Administrator:
* Manage incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate department.
* Speak with customers, clients and suppliers to resolve queries professionally.
* Complete accurate data entry and maintain records, documents and spreadsheets.
* Email, scan, file and distribute correspondence.
* Reconcile invoices and support finance administration tasks.
* Assist with general administrative duties within the Accounts & Procurement Department.
* Maintain accurate filing systems and company records.
* Process and maintain administrative and financial information within company systems.
* Support the wider team to meet deadlines and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently. Key Skills for an Accounts Administrator:
* Previous administration experience.
* An interest in developing a career within accounts and finance.
* Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident working with numbers and financial information.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads in a busy office environment.
* Professional and confident telephone manner.
