About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Program Assistant to support their Community Services initiatives in East London. This role is integral to the successful delivery of programs aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals and communities. You will provide essential administrative and logistical support to the program team, ensuring that activities run smoothly and efficiently. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to collaborate with the team in the office while also managing specific tasks and communications remotely, contributing directly to the mission of the Charity & Voluntary sector.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to program managers and staff, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of program activities, events, and workshops.
- Maintain program records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other program-related documents.
- Liaise with participants, community members, and external partners as directed.
- Assist with data collection and monitoring of program activities.
- Experience as a Program Assistant or in an administrative support role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and virtual collaboration tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, managing tasks both remotely and in-office.
- A willingness to support the goals of the Charity & Voluntary sector and contribute to community well-being.
