Location: South West London

Sytner Jaguar Land Rover South West London are looking to recruit a Used Car Preparation Controller to join their fantastic and motivated team.

Key Objectives

To be responsible for all sold used vehicles to be ready for the customers in a timely manner and ready for the sale executive to handover to the customer.

To be responsible for the cosmetic and mechanical preparation of used vehicles.

To look after the pitch/display area to make sure the cars are in the correct place and looking tidy.

About you

Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, however, this is not essential. We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in marketing and the automotive world. You will be a good, clear communicator and have a customer service background. You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to describe things accurately and a desire to present our stock to our customers in the best possible manner.

You will also be computer literate.

Main Duties

To ensure that all used cars prepared to JLR standard

To ensure that all used cars are ready for customer collections.

To ensure that the pitch area/used car display is full each day with the help of other team members.

To maintain a positive attitude to customers and members of staff, promoting effective communication both internally and externally.

To attend meetings and training courses and keep self-up to date with company and brand developments.

Any additional duties as requested by management.

To keep the work area clean, tidy and a safe environment.

To comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and to have a "duty of care" for colleagues, subcontract staff and customers.

To actively assist in the maintenance of the clean and tidy condition of the site.

To dress in a manner commensurate with this job role.

Attend in-house, manufacturer and other training as necessary including making good use of manufacturer web based training.
