Electronics Technician
Everfox, formerly Forcepoint Federal, is seeking an Electronics Technician to support activities around our small on-site Test & Development Lab in London.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly & Testing:
Support product assembly, cable fabrication, and testing under the guidance of engineers. - Lab Maintenance:
Help ensure the lab space is kept safe and highly organized. - Inventory Support:
Assist with the goods receipt process, ensuring incoming stock is booked in correctly and stored as required. - Documentation Feedback:
Follow documented production processes rigorously and provide feedback to help continually improve them.
You’ll be perfect for the role if you have:
- Tool Proficiency:
Experience using mechanical hand tools for the completion of electro‑mechanical assemblies and cables. - Test Kit Usage:
Experience using basic electronic test equipment (e.g., Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes) as part of a production test process. - OS Navigation:
Familiarity with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems to execute test scripts. - Attention to Detail:
High precision in following technical procedures and maintaining accurate record‑keeping.
- Soldering:
Ability to solder or rework fine‑pitched SMD devices. - Industry Awareness:
Knowledge of IPC rework standards. - Ability to get UK SC Clearance
- Highly Collaborative:
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Adaptable:
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and someone who enjoys tackling challenges to deliver practical results. - Composed:
Calm under pressure, maintaining a professional and diplomatic manner at all times.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: £27,.00 GBP.
