Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role include:

Performing MOT inspections in accordance with VOSA standards
Conducting vehicle diagnostics and fault finding efficiently
Servicing and repairing all types of vehicles, ensuring quality standards are met
Calibrating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) where required
Carrying out general maintenance tasks and electrical repairs
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and diagnostic reports
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and manufacturer guidelines

Individuals for the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician position must have:

Proven experience as an Diagnostic Vehicle Technician within the motor trade
Full UK driving licence
Strong knowledge of MOT testing procedures and regulations
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on all vehicle makes and models
Familiarity with EV diagnostics and calibration is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Passion for automotive technology and continuous learning
