Parts Advisor

Our client, a reputable Vehicle Dealership located in Dartford, Kent, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to advance their career within the automotive trade. The successful Parts Advisor will be responsible for supporting the dealership's parts department, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to achieving sales targets.

Benefits for the Parts Advisor role include:

• Basic salary of 33,000 per annum
• Overtime payments and performance-based bonuses
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Opportunity to work in a respected automotive dealership
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break
• Rotational Saturday mornings
• Stable employment with ongoing training and development

Duties:

• Supplying parts to workshop Technicians promptly and accurately
• Selling parts at the front counter, via telephone, and online
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers
• Identifying customer needs and offering suitable add-on sales
• Processing orders from inception to invoice and arranging delivery
• Managing internal sales, stock levels, and inventory control
• Handling physical stock movement and deliveries, which may involve some heavy lifting
• Acting as a brand ambassador by providing expert product knowledge and delivering excellent customer service

Requirements for the Parts Advisor role:

• Proven experience in an automotive parts advisor role or similar within a dealership environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driving licence preferred due to potential stock movement responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
