Vehicle Technician Chester

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Saturdays 9:00am - 1:00pm on a rota basis (paid at overtime rate) Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 DOE Bonus:
Up to £8,400 per year OTE:

MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established automotive business in Chester that is currently looking to recruit multiple Vehicle Technicians to join its growing team.

The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to a high standard while delivering excellent customer satisfaction. You will work safely, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer guidelines and company standards. You will also be expected to maintain and develop brand-specific knowledge while ensuring all scheduled maintenance and manufacturer requirements are completed accurately.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities Carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and general vehicle maintenance Road test and diagnose vehicles in line with safety regulations and approved procedures Protect customer vehicles using appropriate covers and protective equipment Ensure all vehicles are handled with care whilst on site Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Inspect vehicles thoroughly and report any additional work required to the Service Advisor Complete all job cards, inspection sheets, and documentation accurately Ensure all vehicles meet required safety standards before handover Return warranty and exchange parts correctly and on time Check vehicles for manufacturer recalls or service campaigns Maintain workshop equipment and report any faults promptly Attend manufacturer training and continue developing technical knowledge Follow all company health & safety policies and manufacturer guidelines Consistently deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service Benefits Increased holiday entitlement with length of service Your birthday off every year 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and counselling services for you and your family Company pension scheme Long service recognition awards Discounts on products and services for you and your family Car Benefit Scheme Cycle to Work scheme Bonus scheme with realistic earning potential Interested in finding out more?
