HCP is partnering with a respected independent VAG specialist in Buckinghamshire to recruit an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician. Owned and operated by two highly experienced technicians, this family-run business has built its reputation on quality workmanship and technical expertise. Specialising in Audi, Bentley and Volkswagen Group vehicles, they have created an environment where technical expertise and workmanship are prioritised. Working in a new service centre, you will work alongside experienced technicians who take pride in quality workmanship, customer care and achieving a first-time fix.

With a spacious workshop accommodating over 10 vehicles, the environment is designed to support efficient working practices while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and vehicle care. More than simply filling a vacancy, they are looking for a technician who will become a valued member of the team; sharing their commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, technical standards and customer care.

Personality, professionalism and a positive approach are just as important as technical ability. With a spacious workshop, on-site parking and a business led by experienced technicians, the focus remains on technical excellence, quality workmanship and attention to detail.

• Service, maintain and repair Audi, Bentley and Volkswagen Group vehicles
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
• Carry out servicing, repairs and inspections to a high standard
• Follow manufacturer procedures and workshop processes where appropriate
• Deliver quality workmanship with a focus on achieving a first-time fix
• Conduct test drives and road tests professionally, ensuring the highest standards of vehicle care and safety
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care, workshop organisation and health & safety
• Work alongside experienced technicians who take pride in their work and support one another

Focus on Technical Excellence, Quality workmanship and attention to detail, with Monday to Friday hours, no weekend working, allowing for a better work/life balance.

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Experienced Motor Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Additional qualifications, manufacturer training and specialist technical skills will be recognised and rewarded accordingly
• Stable employment history demonstrating technical competence
• Pride in delivering quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Experience following manufacturer procedures and workshop processes
• Customer-focused with a commitment to achieving a first-time fix
• Understand the importance of vehicle care, workshop standards and health & safety
• Full UK driving licence with confidence handling customer vehicles professionally and responsibly. Advanced driver training would be an advantageous when working with premium and high-value vehicles
• Full right to work in the UK

• Five-day working week, Monday to Friday with no weekend requirement
