Panel Beater

Are you an experienced Panel Beater looking for your next opportunity within a busy and professional Accident Repair Centre?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repair Technician to join a well-established accident repair business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and wants to work in a modern, professional body shop environment

Responsibilities of a Panel Beater

As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer and company repair standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Assessing damaged vehicles and determining the appropriate repair method

* Carrying out structural and non-structural body repairs

* Removing and replacing damaged panels

* Straightening and repairing vehicle bodywork

* Welding and fabrication where required

* Repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications

* Working alongside MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and other workshop staff

* Ensuring repairs are completed within agreed time frames

* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

* Following all company health & safety procedures

Requirements for Panel Beater

We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater with a background in automotive accident repair / vehicle body repair.

Ideally, you will have:

* Previous experience as a Panel Beater within an Accident Repair Centre / Body Shop

* Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques

* Experience repairing both structural and non-structural damage

* A high level of attention to detail

* The ability to work efficiently to repair targets and deadlines

* A strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

* The ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team

* A full UK driving licence would be advantageous

ATA accreditation, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential.
