MET Technician

• Competitive salary range of GBP £40,000 to £65,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications

• Conducting mechanical repairs, suspension work and vehicle assessments to high standards
• Diagnosing and repairing suspension, steering geometry and wheel alignment issues
• Handling plastic repairs, glazing, and air conditioning system evacuations and recharges
• Performing vehicle inspections to identify further damage and ensure quality reassembly in collaboration with repair consultants
• Applying relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications to deliver precise and efficient repairs
• Upholding safety standards and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout every job

• Proven experience as a MET Technician within the motor trade
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
• Relevant mechanical qualifications, ideally ATA MET accreditation
• LCV experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with steering geometry alignment and adjustments
• Experience working with plastic repairs, glazing, and air conditioning recharges
• High attention to detail and a team-oriented approach
