Diagnostic Vehicle Technician (149018-IND)

Location Battersea, England Sector Automotive Salary £41,000.00 to £52,000.00 per annum

We are working on behalf of our client, a well-established automotive dealership, to recruit a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for their brand-new site in Battersea. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced technician to join a forward-thinking team during an exciting phase of growth and contribute to the launch of a new dealership. The Diagnostic Vehicle Technician will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and servicing, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Competitive basic salary of £37,000 to £41,000, with a guaranteed bonus during the first three months
  • OTE up to £52,480 dependent on experience and performance
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis

Duties
  • Diagnosing complex vehicle faults using the latest equipment and diagnostic techniques
  • Conducting high-standard repairs and routine servicing work
  • Ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently and to manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed service, repair, and diagnostic records
  • Supporting the launch and development of the new Battersea site
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain workshop productivity and quality standards
  • Providing an excellent standard of customer service and technical advice
Requirements
  • Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience as a vehicle technician, with diagnostic expertise
  • Strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities
  • Passion for delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service
