Vehicle Technician (Specialist Vehicles & Technical Development) Didcot £47,000 Specialist Training EV Training Lots of Overtime Pension Generous Holiday Package Excellent Working Environment Are you a Vehicle Technician looking to move away from a main dealer environment, or do you feel like you have stopped developing in your current role? Based in Didcot, you will be working from a brand-new purpose-built workshop designed to create an excellent working environment with modern equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will be a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Engineer who feels they are ready for a change. The Role:
* Service, maintain and repair a wide range of specialist vehicles
* Work on vehicles ranging from standard fleet vehicles to highly customised £500,000 specialist vehicles
* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and technical repairs
* Receive ongoing technical development including EV and specialist vehicle training
* Work with modern equipment in a purpose-built workshop
* Join a supportive team environment with realistic expectations
* Excellent overtime opportunities available
* First month based in Didcot for industry-leading training
The Person :
* Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Automotive Technician background
* Level 3 Vehicle qualification. Candidates with a level 2 can apply but you have to want to do the level 3 qualification.
* Experience from a main dealer, independent garage, fleet, commercial or similar environment
* Looking for more variety and technical development
* Wants to work on specialist vehicles and new technologies
