You will join a diverse, close‑knit team of 15 professionals in London, working in a supportive environment where impact is the primary strategy. About the Client
Our client is a London‑based private foundation and family office dedicated to improving livelihoods in marginalized communities globally. They deploy flexible capital, including direct loans and funds, into sectors that others often overlook such as Energy Access, Agriculture, Affordable Housing, and Gender Equity. With a pragmatic culture that values honesty and collaboration, they champion realism in a sector often filled with noise.
What you will do
- Serve at the heart of the Impact and Origination team, identifying partners who are building resilience in underserved markets.
- Work directly with the Investment Committee to support decision‑making, preparing materials and helping determine which deals progress to full diligence.
- Partner with the Lead on sourcing and financial assessment of new opportunities, helping the team understand real‑world risks and rewards.
- Research and identify diverse sectors across the Global South and developed countries, from women‑led SMEs in emerging markets to community housing in the UK.
- Act as a trusted partner to investees and co‑investors, managing relationships with empathy and professionalism.
- Support the monitoring process to ensure every dollar deployed is making a measurable difference.
Who we are looking for
- Approximately 3–6 years in a financial analysis role such as Investment Banking M&A/LF, Private Equity, or Private Debt.
- Experience with, background from, or strong interest in Emerging Markets.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex information with clarity.
- A genuine commitment to social equity and supporting underserved communities.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.
Location
:
London, UK (Full Time). One day in office, four days flexible in office or from home as you prefer.
Pay and Benefits
