As a Cricket Systems Operator, you will be responsible for delivering our world-renowned ball-tracking, edge-detection, and Match Officials' communications technologies, as well as providing other officiating and broadcast-enhancing technologies at cricket events around the world. This role offers a genuine opportunity to make a direct impact on the biggest occasions and moments in cricket; this could involve providing an LBW call during a Test match at Lord's or telling the story of the decisive bowling spell during the Cricket World Cup Final.

What Difficulties Might I Face?

Up to this point, I’m sure there have been many things that you find intriguing about the role; however, there can be difficult times:

Working Hours
:
Due to the nature of the sports industry, there is often work on weekends and midweek evenings, and we are expected to fulfil our roles until the last ball has been hit.

Travelling Abroad
:
You can expect to spend, on average, up to 250 days per year on tour away from home. Whilst there are glamorous locations where major tournaments are held, there are also some locations that you may not have anticipated that you will be expected to travel to.
