Business Development Specialist - M&A & Private Equity
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to support our EMEA M&A, Private Equity, and specialist practices. This role is key to driving growth, enhancing client relationships, and supporting strategic BD initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare tailored pitches, RFPs, credentials, and directory/award submissions.
- Support cross selling, client targeting, and key client programme initiatives.
- Coordinate practice group meetings and track follow up actions.
- Maintain and monitor strategic business plans.
- Conduct research on clients, competitors, and market trends.
- Work with Events, PR/Comms, Marketing, and Digital teams on campaigns and events.
- Maintain CRM, experience databases, and BD pipelines.
- Support BD priorities across other practice groups as needed.
- Minimum 3 years BD experience in a professional services environment; corporate law firm experience desirable.
- Strong interest in M&A and Private Equity.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
- Highly organised, detail focused, and able to manage competing deadlines.
- Collaborative, proactive, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
