Overview
Sustainability & Auditing Manager - Oxford / London based hybrid - Salary DOE
Dahlia Recruitment Renewables have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability and Auditing Manager for an established and rapidly growing developer of renewable energy facilities in the UK.
This is a newly created role and an opportunity to join a rapidly growing business. The role will ideally be based around the Oxford area but will be a hybrid role and other locations for the relevant experience will be considered.
Responsibilities- Develop sustainability strategy and put it into action, working with colleagues across the business and external stakeholders.
- Closely involved in developing sustainability strategy and putting it into action (as described above).
- Work with in all parts of the supply chain – feedstock procurement, cultivation and processing of feed stocks, operation of company facilities, carbon capture and usage / storage, supply of biomethane, and use of digestate in own activities and for supply to third parties.
- Collaborate with teams across the business and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate flexibility and the organisational ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
- Solid academic background with a good degree; strong organisational and numeracy skills; at least three years of relevant work experience with a proven track record.
- Essential attributes: passion for energy and sustainability; understanding of farming and agriculture; ability to gather and manage complex data; confidence to independently manage data submissions and audits in accordance with strict deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Ideally experience with periodic data submissions and sustainability audits, specifically relating to UK government renewable energy support schemes.
- Thorough understanding of UK government schemes for the support of bioenergy (e.g., RHI, GGSS) is a strong preference; knowledge of voluntary sustainability schemes is advantageous.
Oxford / London based hybrid role. Salary is DOE. Opportunities to work across multiple locations based on experience.
