About TSC

At The Sports Consultancy (TSC), we help shape the future of sport, major events, and entertainment through world-class strategic, commercial, and legal advisory services. Headquartered in London with a growing presence in the Middle East, we partner with leading international rights holders, governments, sports federations, host cities, investors, and venues.

Our consulting team delivers evidence-based strategies and actionable commercial solutions to help clients transform their organisations, maximise economic and social impact, and achieve sustainable growth. Our advisory work spans strategy, investments & growth, commercial, major events bid and delivery, venue and facilities strategy, and organisational transformation — underpinned by deep industry expertise, innovative thinking, and strong focus on social value and public‑sector outcomes.

Your role

TSC is hiring a Senior Consultant–Economist to join our growing Impact team. This is a chance to apply serious applied economics skills to tangible projects in sport, leisure and the built environment – from stadiums and arenas to community facilities and wider regeneration programmes. You will sit within the Consulting team but work closely across TSC Impact and our Facilities & Venues (F&V) practice.

A core part of the role is quantifying economic, social and wellbeing impacts and building robust, Green Book‑aligned business cases and social value assessments.

Sport experience is not essential; we are prioritising strong economic skills, public‑sector appraisal experience and an interest in social value and non‑market valuation.

You will bring strong project management discipline, analytical rigour, and client-facing confidence, particularly in projects involving business planning, financial modelling, and operating model design for sports and live entertainment venues. You will independently lead smaller assignments or take ownership of work streams within larger projects, managing junior consultants and analysts to deliver exceptional outputs and help evolve TSC’s economic and social impact tools and methodologies.
