We’re hiring a Press Officer to support a fast‑paced, reactive and proactive UK press office within a major global tech company. This role requires strong in‑house press office experience and the ability to partner seamlessly with Policy, Legal, and global comms teams to deliver fast, accurate and high‑quality media responses.

• Help run a busy in‑house UK press office across reactive and proactive work streams.
• Draft statements, op‑eds, social copy and newsroom posts as needed.
• Handle high‑priority media enquiries with EMEA/global comms, Policy, Legal, Community Operations, and PR agencies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tier‑1 UK journalists

• Work with agency partners to deliver proactive announcements via earned press and social channels.
• Support key UK proactive communications campaigns and moments.
• Understand complex global policies and translate them into clear UK messaging.

• Proven in‑house press office experience in a fast‑paced organisation — ideally tech or a high‑profile consumer brand.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using AI tools in day‑to‑day comms work.
• Experience managing or partnering with external agencies

• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills across multiple teams and time zones.
• Ability to work at pace, juggle multiple priorities and exercise sound judgement.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
