Compliance Analyst, Business

As Compliance Analyst, you'll be a key member of our global Compliance team, ensuring CRU’s operations are aligned with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly protect CRU’s reputation and support our position as a trusted industry leader.

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across CRU
• Provide regulatory guidance to stakeholders across the business
• Ensure adherence to IOSCO principles for Price Reporting Agencies
• Monitor compliance with UK, US, UN, and EU sanctions regimes
• Conduct internal audits and ongoing monitoring activities
• Promote compliance awareness throughout the organisation
• Collaborate with HR, Consulting, Finance, Sales, and other teams
• Act as a cross‑functional liaison to support compliance integration
• Contribute to dynamic, fast‑paced projects across the company

• Degree or equivalent qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in a compliance or regulated role
• Understanding of commodity markets (especially metals, mining, fertilisers)
• Experience in audits, monitoring, and compliance policy development
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
• Self‑motivated, organised, and deadline‑driven
• Proactive and collaborative with a positive mindset
