Business Development Specialist – M&A & Private Equity (EMEA)

Are you a motivated BD professional with a passion for M&A and Private Equity? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing team supporting our EMEA M&A, Private Equity, and specialist practice groups.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the firm’s strategic business development initiatives across the region.

• Prepare tailored pitches, RFPs, credentials
  , and directory/award submissions
• Support cross‑selling
  , client targeting, and key client programme initiatives
• Coordinate practice group meetings and ensure effective follow‑up
• Maintain and monitor strategic business plans
• Conduct research into clients, competitors, and market trends
• Collaborate with Events, PR/Comms, Marketing, and Digital teams on campaigns and events
• Maintain CRM systems, experience databases, and BD pipelines
• Support wider BD priorities across additional practice groups when needed
• Minimum 3 years’ BD experience in a professional services environment (corporate law firm experience desirable)
• Strong interest in M&A and Private Equity
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
• Highly organised, detail‑focused, and confident in managing competing deadlines
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
