Following the retirement of the previous post holder an excellent opportunity has arisen for the right candidate.
About the RoleThe role is to manage the Leicestershire County Council's (LCC) Soft FM diverse grange of Soft FM Contracts these including Cleaning, Grounds Maintenance, Security, Waste Collection, Window Cleaning, and Washroom Contracts.
These contract are entirely delivered by our outsourced suppliers which we oversee and manage to deliver these to our own (LCC) sites (client departments) as well as our Partners including Schools, Academies, Police and Fire Services, Parish, District and City Councils (external customers).
The day to day role involves managing the suppliers to ensure they deliver the contract and adjusting or amending the contract itself to meet the needs of of both the client departments and the external customers.
About YouTo apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- Degree in appropriate Discipline, Or Equivalent relevant membership of a professional body, Or Suitable experience of working on large and complex facilities management operations
- Developing or working in successful partnerships/contracts
- Evidence of ability to plan and organise your own work and that of others and Working under pressure and problem solving
- Experience in writing reports and managing budgets
- Competent and confident in the use of computers and databases
- Good liaison and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail with good level of numeracy and literacy skills
