This is a contract until 31/12/2026, with hybrid working pattern, offering £22.60-25 per hour (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates by Friday, 6th Feb  to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to prototype and refine human rating and semi‑automatic evaluation protocols for advanced generative models.
  • Execute small‑to‑medium scale in‑house human ratings on generated content, particularly for high‑stakes or complex protocols.
  • Partner with engineers to analyze evaluation results, pinpointing model deficiencies and summarizing key insights.
  • Work alongside engineering teams to identify critical data needs, then mine and prepare training data to drive subsequent model improvements.
  • Coordinate with partner development teams to successfully scale validated evaluation protocols, including thorough auditing and oversight.
Must‑Have Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Bioinformatics, or other STEM fields.
  • Basic proficiency in Python, Unix, and SQL.
  • Foundational understanding of computer vision and generative models.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a natural aptitude for experimental investigation.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and manage time efficiently.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
  • Prior industrial experience in software development and testing.
  • Research experience in human‑computer interaction.
