PURPOSE OFTHE ROLE
To drive strategic sales performance and profitability across all retail channels through advanced data analysis, forecasting, and informed strategy recommendations.
Job Responsibilities MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Forecast Ownership (Sell-Out):
Lead the forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial objectives. - Target Setting:
Collaborate with relevant business partners (e.g., Marketing, Retail Operations, Finance, Commercial Team) to establish and track challenging yet achievable Retail targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - ROI Evaluation:
Conduct thorough Return on Investment analysis for sites, activities, and investments, providing actionable insights for optimisation. - Sales Trend Analysis:
Perform comprehensive Sell-Out (SO) trend analysis across various dimensions (channel, franchise, market, category) to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks. - Strategic Recommendations:
Develop and present forecast-driven strategy recommendations to key stakeholders, influencing commercial decision-making. - Performance Analysis:
Conduct historic performance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making. - Reporting & Insights:
Prepare accurate, meaningful, and timely reports and analyses of retail sales, targets, and productivity, leveraging tools like Power BI. - This includes daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales reports for Head Office and the Retail Field Team.
- Produce monthly Store Performance Reports and KPI reporting in line with HQ requirements, including in-depth analysis.
- Incentive Programme Analysis:
Oversee and analyse the BC incentive programme to evaluate effectiveness and propose improvements. - System Management:
Manage Monthly Store Web Reporting, including commission (Tamigo), and present insights to the BC community in meetings. Act as a Power BI user of excellence for all reporting and analysis elements. - Opportunity Identification:
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance sales and address any issues detrimental to performance. - Budget Management Support:
Support the management of the Temporary Staffing Budget, identifying best opportunities for spend in alignment with commercial goals. - Ad-hoc Analysis:
Conduct specific ad-hoc analyses by segments, brand, area, or region as required by commercial leadership. - Strategic Project Participation:
Participate in cross-functional strategic projects, providing analytical expertise.
- Continuously improve and develop reporting capabilities to produce efficient and accurate insights.
- Assist in preparing analyses for retail meetings or presentations.
- Seek and implement opportunities to enhance reporting and analytical tools in line with evolving business needs.
Profile Graduate from a Business school or relevant analytical discipline with strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills. Proven experience in a similar Sales Analyst or Business Analyst role, ideally within the luxury or retail environment. Driven & Ambitious to learn, develop, and contribute strategically. A natural affiliation with a fast‑paced, data‑driven commercial environment. Key Competencies/Technical Skills Fluent in English Expert level proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential.
Advanced Analytical and statistical skills with proven experience in sales forecasting and ROI analysis. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail dynamics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences. Proven ability to work effectively as a strong team player in a fast‑paced environment. Proactive, self‑starter with a ‘can‑do’ attitude and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
Passionate, enthusiastic, and highly flexible, yet structured in approach. Fast Learner with a continuous improvement mindset. Microsoft Office Suite:
Very high level in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP (preferable).
