Aon Global Risk Consulting provides integrated solutions to help clients identify, flatten and finance the risk curve.

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Strategic Risk Advisory practice, with a focus on enterprise risk management (ERM), organizational resilience, and climate-related risk. This role will help clients anticipate, prepare for, and respond to an evolving risk landscape.

You will work with senior client stakeholders to design and implement practical risk frameworks, resilience strategies, and climate risk solutions that are aligned to business strategy.

About the Role

As Senior Consultant - SRA your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing engagements and support origination of new work.
  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, and client presentations.
  • Work with Aon’s network to find unmet client needs and deliver integrated risk solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership, methodologies and tools.
  • Lead day-to-day delivery of client projects, managing timelines, quality, and junior team members.
  • Develop high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations, risk registers, and operating models.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams involving subject matter experts from a wide range of specialisms to deliver impactful solutions to clients.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement with client project sponsors, functional leads, and subject‑matter experts.
  • Identify and address project risks and issues, escalating as appropriate.
About you
  • Likely to be degree educated (or equivalent) with a professional qualification in insurance or risk management.
  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in risk advisory, management consulting, internal risk functions, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including ability to structure complex issues and develop pragmatic recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
  • Proven track record working in client‑facing or senior stakeholder environments.
  • Strong communication skills – able to translate technical risk and climate concepts into clear business language.
  • Ability to manage work streams independently while collaborating effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops, interviews, and senior stakeholder discussions.
