Prepaid Account Manager

Currys London Campus, Waterloo – Permanent – Full Time – Grade 4

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Senior Business Development Manager to develop and grow client relationships in the Gift Card sector.
  • Develop existing relationships to maximise opportunities and search for new ones from target sectors.
  • Deliver sales and margin targets.
  • Manage and develop multiple corporate accounts across B2B, not‑for‑profit, employee savings, salary sacrifice and reward & incentive channels.
  • Identify and develop new clients and open new channels and revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate account‑base requirements to the wider team, providing guidance on system and proposition development.
  • Attend industry networking events and GCVA membership events.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Good understanding of the UK gift card and voucher market, suppliers, clients and retailers.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the gift card market.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication, written, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Good facilitation and influencing skills for successful outcome completion.
  • Advanced planning, organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting to clients and cross‑functional teams.
  • Detail‑oriented problem‑solving skills.
  • Customer‑champion mindset with commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs.
  • Extensive experience working to deadlines and managing critical paths.
  • Experience in a commercial or performance‑driving environment, driving performance within an account manager and sales role.
  • Good knowledge of adjacent markets and competitors (retail, services, technology).
  • Good knowledge of Currys UK&I commercial models and operating models.
  • Experience working within a financial services organisation, FMCG or retailer.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Office workflow tools.
