The Diocese in Europe is the Church of Engalnd across the continent of Europe and beyond, for those keen to be part of an English‑speaking Anglican Christian community. It is multi‑cultural, dynamic, youthful and diverse. With a new Diocesan Secretary and a vision centred around mission and purpose, the Diocese wants to ensure it is best equipped to support the large and dispersed community it serves.

The Head of Finance and Operations is a critical strategic and enabling role within the Diocese, responsible for delivering the financial strategy and operational effectiveness of the Diocese. The role ensures long‑term financial sustainability, robust governance including Synod elections, and efficient operational systems (including IT and administration), enabling the Diocese to fulfil its mission.

We are keen to speak to people who are excited by the range and complexity of the role, working across a wide range of jurisdictions and combining local and canon law, and committed to the mission and values of the Diocese.
