OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join a fully staffed ultra-high-net-worth household with residences in the Bahamas, Switzerland and Southern France.
The role follows an established annual schedule, with approximately six months spent in Europe between April and September, and six months in the Bahamas between September and March.
Flights relating to the role, including an annual return flight home at Christmas, are provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards across multiple high-value private residences. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and alongside existing long‑standing household staff.
There is a light senior element to the position, offering guidance and support to an established housekeeper while maintaining a respectful and collaborative working environment.
The family are experienced employers who value professionalism, discretion and consistency.
Key Responsibilities Housekeeping and Cleaning- Daily housekeeping to an exceptional standard
* Deep cleaning across large, high‑end private residences
* Care of specialist surfaces including marble, fine woods, antiques and delicate finishes
* Maintaining cleanliness, order and organisation throughout the properties
* Monitoring household supplies and assisting with household errands as required
- Full laundry care, including ironing and specialist garment care
* Wardrobe organisation and seasonal wardrobe management
* Packing and unpacking for family travel
* Ensuring wardrobes and storage areas remain organised and maintained
- Preparation of simple, fresh meals for the family when required
* Table setting and assisting with informal service
* Supporting occasional guest visits in a professional and discreet manner
- Providing consistent housekeeping standards across all residences
* Supporting smooth household operation during family occupancy and travel periods
* Adapting to seasonal moves between Europe and the Bahamas
- Occasional assistance in a supportive capacity around the family environment when appropriate
* This is not a nanny position and no formal childcare duties are required
- Working collaboratively with existing household staff
* Providing guidance and support in a respectful and professional manner where appropriate
* Maintaining a positive and cooperative team environment
- Proven experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household, ideally within a UHNW or high‑profile environment
* Excellent housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management skills
* High attention to detail and pride in maintaining exceptional standards
* Physically capable of performing a hands‑on housekeeping role
* Professional, discreet and respectful manner
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Fluent English
* EU passport with the ability to travel internationally and work within the European Union
- Experience working in multi‑residence private households
* Driving licence preferred
* Experience working within fully staffed private households
- Salary of £4,400 net per month
* Private accommodation provided in each location
* Flights provided in line with the role requirements, including an annual return flight home
* Work permit provided for the Bahamas, where applicable
* 30 days of paid annual leave per annum
* Full private health insurance package (worldwide)
* Six working days per week, available up to 12 hours per day, with breaks
* Food is available during work hours
