HR Business Partner Project Lead

Contract:

6 months, initially on a day-rate basis Start: after Easter break We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner or HR Project Manager to lead an independent review and full redesign of a business support operating model. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on diagnosing organisational issues, shaping solutions, and delivering meaningful, measurable change. Conduct a full diagnostic of the current operating model, including stakeholder feedback, cost analysis, demand/capacity assessment, and SWOT.

Develop a set of model options with clear financial rationale, ROI, and a final recommended structure (including org design and role/structural proposals). Build a more dynamic, flexible, and agile model that ensures full utilisation, meets business needs, and delivers significant cost reduction. Produce a clear and achievable roadmap for implementation, setting KPIs & measures of success. Experience Demonstrated experience in operating model reviews and redesigns, ideally within business support functions.

Strong understanding of organisational design principles and relevant employment legislation. Proven commercial acumen, including cost modelling and business case development. Skilled change manager with excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation capability.
