Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager
Location: Greater London
In this role, you will act as a Workforce Change Subject Matter Expert, delivering complex, organisational change and restructuring activity across the bank. You will translate business requirements into fully executable workforce change plans, ensuring all activity adheres to legal obligations. You will apply deep expertise in UK employment legislation, large‑scale redundancy programmes, TUPE and consultation processes to safeguard the bank from legal risk and ensure the best colleague experience.
Working hands‑on with colleague‑level impact data, you will conduct detailed due diligence, assessing high risk/complex cases, prepare high‑quality consultation materials and facilitate consultation with Unions and/or Employee Forums, development of collateral for individual communications, prepare and support communicating managers, support query management, and through effective project management disciplines ensure that programmes remain compliant, structured, and controlled.
You will work within a matrixed workforce change and restructuring team, partnering closely with senior stakeholders, HR Business Partners, Legal, Employee Relations and business leaders to deliver outcomes will directly lead and, when required, support major restructuring programmes, engaging with unions, employee forums and individual colleagues throughout consultation. You will manage escalations, redeployment considerations and complex programme challenges, using your technical expertise to navigate ambiguity and maintain programme integrity.
This is a hands‑on delivery role, requiring candidate who is confident operating at detail level, analysing workforce data, drafting consultation materials, and executing end‑to‑end workforce change with precision and professionalism. Curiosity and leveraging peers to quickly get up to speed with ways of working, processes and collateral are a must to really hit the ground running at pace and deliver.
Ownership, drive, stakeholder management and excel skills are essential skills.
To be successful as a Workforce Change & Restructuring Specialist Assistant Vice President - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract, you should have experience with:
- Deep technical expertise in employment legislation, redundancy, consultation, unions and TUPE, UK in depth and global experience preferable.
- Analytical skills, including handling detailed colleague-level data (Excel: pivots, v-lookups, large scale data analysis and data integrity).
- Ability to deliver end‑to‑end workforce change plans with minimal supervision.
Other highly desired skills include:
- Financial services experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale, multi‑country or multi‑business restructures.
- Strong stakeholder management with unions, forums, ER and legal teams.

Purpose of the roleTo own the end-to-end accountability and delivery of the HR workstream for allocated Workforce Change and Restructuring projects, including restructuring/reorganisation, redundancies, Legal Employing Entity (TUPE) transfers, senior exits/settlement agreements, outsourcing, in sourcing, site closures, mergers, and acquisitions.
Accountabilities- End-to-end HR workstream ownership and delivery, collaborating across HR Transaction Cycles as required, ensuring project plan, status reports/reporting/stakeholder engagement and all Workforce Change and Restructuring governance and control requirements adhered to.
- People impact assessment ownership for all proposed changes and colleagues in scope, in conjunction with applicable legal requirements, union/works council agreements, policies and practices.
- Development of consultation strategies for the purpose of consultation, production of consultation materials and facilitation of consultation meetings with unions/works councils and other employee representative bodies, in conjunction with the business.
