Job Description & How to Apply Below

Kinetic Investments is a venture capital firm dedicated to early-stage companies that are transforming the digital landscape. Our mission is to drive start-up ambitions to definitive successes through strategic investments and dynamic partnerships.

Since our inception in 2016, we have invested in 12 transformative start-ups and been behind over 100+ digital brands. We are not just investors; we are catalysts for change, committed to shaping the future of digital transformation.

If you’re energised by pitching, networking and closing, and you thrive in high-ownership roles, we’d love to meet you!

Role

You’ll be the chief door-opener for Fund I – owning LP outreach, pipeline velocity, and how Kinetic appears on stage, on Zoom, and in every Whats App group that matters.

In practical terms, that means:

  • Hunt & close:
Build a qualified LP universe, run continuously warm pipelines, and convert interest into signed commitments on a quarterly cadence.
  • Own the microphone:
Speak at conferences, host invite-only dinners, and turn every room into an LP or dealflow opportunity.
  • Curate the story:
Craft data-backed, thesis-driven narratives that make founders and investors alike want to partner with us.
  • Feed the machine:
Channel the relationships you forge into fresh deal flow, strong co-investor ties, and a high-signal market pulse.

You’ll thrive if you’re energized by fast-moving environments, balance strategic thinking with natural relationship instinct, and are excited to help scale a lean, ambitious team.

Key accountabilities
  • Own and expand an LP pipeline – map, reach and nurture prospects across HNWIs, family offices & FoFs.
  • Convert interest into commitments – drive first meeting → IC → subscription docs, hitting quarterly capital-in targets.
  • Be our external face – speak on panels, host dinners, travel 25-30 % to major conferences.
  • Support deals & ops – feed high-quality start-ups into the funnel and keep portfolio/LP reporting crisp.
Requirements

Essential:

  • 3+ years of experience in VC, private equity, investor relations, fundraising, or high-growth startups
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment with shifting priorities

Desirable:

  • Prior LP-facing experience, particularly with family offices or institutional investors
  • Exposure to the full fund lifecycle — fundraising, investments, and portfolio management
  • Experience in lean teams or startup settings with a hands-on, adaptable mindset
Benefits
  • Salary of £40,000 – £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Remote working policy – Work from our London office, at home, or a combination of both
  • Access to Uncommon – Our vibrant coworking space in central London, offering regular members events like weekly tea times, monthly drinks, and lunchtime yoga classes!
  • Quarterly team socials
  • Company bonus scheme
  • £1000 annual personal learning and development budgets
  • Vitality health insurance
  • Sabbatical policy
  • Working from home budgets
  • Generous holiday entitlement of 25 days (plus bank & public holidays), with an additional day added for every year worked, up to a maximum of 30 days
  • Life insurance coverage
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Employee referral program
  • Company pension scheme
Our values
  • Catalysts in Action – We turn ideas into impact and empower those who take initiative to drive meaningful change.
  • Relentless Growth – We’re driven to grow continuously, always pushing past limits and reaching for more.
  • Innovation Through Challenge – We see obstacles as opportunities to think bigger, solve creatively, and stretch our potential.
  • Collective Momentum – We move forward together, valuing every voice and thriving through collaboration.
  • Celebrate the Journey – We celebrate all of our wins as a team, finding purpose and pride in the process, not just the outcome.
  • Continuous Advancement – We champion ongoing personal and professional development — learning never stops at Kinetic.
Perks of working with us
  • You’ll have the opportunity to work with a talented and friendly group of people who are driven to be the best at what they do
  • We offer a place for you to take ownership of your work and grow within the business
  • Everyone is valued, listened to and recognised as contributing in their own way to the company’s success
  • You’ll have the opportunity to be part of something big from the start with real opportunities to grow professionally, make a lasting impact on our team, and be rewarded for your efforts
  • We have a great work-hard play-hard culture, so expect lots of team socials!
