Job Overview

As an Internship Supplier Onboarding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the success of our company by ensuring that our suppliers are onboarded efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our procurement team to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and onboard them onto our supplier network. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain hands‑on experience in supplier management and procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to identify potential suppliers that meet our company's requirements
  • Contact potential suppliers and gather information about their products, services, and capabilities
  • Evaluate suppliers based on their quality, reliability, and pricing
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Create and maintain supplier profiles and databases
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that suppliers are onboarded in a timely manner
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
  • Assist in the development and implementation of supplier onboarding processes and procedures
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential new suppliers
  • Provide support to the procurement team as needed
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of supplier management and procurement processes is a plus
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
