What You'llbe Doing:

Coordinateexternalsourcesofmarketrelevantdata&informationandcombinewithdataflowingtotheresearchdeskfromglobaloriginationteams&merchandising centres.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsibleforenhancingandfullyutilisingtheadvantageousdataheldacrossthewidergroup.

AsCoffeeisaleadingcommoditywithinthecompany,theindividualwilldealwithadiverserangeofstakeholders&customersacrossthebusiness,forwhichresearchisakeypartoftheirbusiness.

• Managealargeandcomplexdatabaseofcoffeestatisticsensuringthatproductiondataisuptodateandaccurate.
  
  Withfocusonexports,imports,trade flows,stocks,local prices/differentialsandconsumptiontrends.
• Regularreportingforinternalandexternaluse,suchas;weekly reports,meetingsummariesandmonthlyupdates.
• Hostandminuteregularinternalcoffeetrademeetings,ensuringagendaisalwaysrelevanttodrivingforceswithinthemarket.
• Preparepresentationsforcustomersacrossthedifferentprofitcentresaimedatsupportingthetradeandsalesteams.
• Engagefullywithaninternalnetworkofagronomistsandlocaloriginspecialiststohelpinformyourcentralisedresearch.
• Analysethemarketsandkeeptradersupdatedwithimportantinsights.
• Keepuptodatewiththeothercommodities,suchascocoaandcottonandidentifyinnovativemethods&techniquesthatcouldbeusedtostrengthencoffeeanalysis.
