As we continue our ambitious expansion journey, we are looking for a commercially driven Business Manager to help identify, evaluate and launch new market opportunities across Africa and the Middle East.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping Monster's future growth, working at the intersection of commercial strategy, financial planning, market development and cross‑functional project leadership.
The RoleReporting to the VP of Bottler & Group Commercial Development, you will be responsible for leading new market entry projects from concept through to execution.
Working closely with bottling partners and internal stakeholders, you will develop robust business cases, evaluate commercial opportunities, build route‑to‑market strategies and ensure successful market launches.
This role will see you collaborate with teams across Commercial, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Finance and Marketing, acting as the key link between Monster Energy and strategic bottling partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and evaluating new market opportunities across Africa and the Middle East.
- Conducting market assessments, competitor analysis and pricing evaluations to determine commercial viability.
- Building detailed business cases, financial models and long‑range growth plans.
- Developing route‑to‑market strategies and distribution models tailored to individual markets.
- Partnering closely with bottlers to align commercial objectives and deliver successful market launches.
- Leading cross‑functional project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and in full.
- Creating and improving processes that support scalable and sustainable market expansion.
- Driving profitability initiatives and identifying opportunities to optimise commercial and supply chain performance.
- Managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
We're looking for a commercially minded, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in complex and fast‑moving environments.
You'll bring:
- Experience with in FMCG, beverages or a similarly fast‑paced consumer goods environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience building business cases, financial models and growth plans.
- Proven project management experience, leading initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions.
- Experience working with bottling partners, distributors or third‑party commercial partners.
- Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- A proactive, self‑starting approach and a passion for identifying new opportunities.
