We are looking for an enthusiastic BID Manager to round up our talented and dynamic team in London and Dubai for both our Lighting Design practice and Landscape Design practice.

Job Purpose

The Bid Manager is a full-time, on‑site role based in Dubai or in London, responsible for managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including value proposition, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, and tender documents management in compliance with the company policies and standards. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines.

It will require strong people management and commercial skills.

About the role
  • Lead the end‑to‑end bid and proposal lifecycle for Landscape architecture and Lighting design related projects.
  • Manage bid pipelines, coordinating inputs from design, technical, and commercial teams, and ensuring all submissions are compliant, compelling, and aligned with client requirements and brand standards.
  • Attend launching meeting, define tender scope and specifications, review tender documentation, technical requirements and conditions pertaining to the project.
  • Analyze tender documentation, develop bid strategies and win themes, prepare detailed bid plans and timelines, and track progress against milestones.
  • Day‑to‑day tasks include writing and editing bid content, producing supporting materials, and ensuring accurate pricing and commercial documentation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a central bid knowledge base, while monitoring bid performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement in bid processes, and supporting client presentations, and clarifications as needed.
  • Assess technical and commercial risks related to the bid throughout the bid process and take necessary action to mitigate them in compliance with the company policies.
  • Manage the bid budget; tracking cost when needed.
  • Research and review current and future market trends to always ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience within an Architecture or Design firm.
  • Strong bid lifecycle expertise, including Bid Preparation and Bid Management, with experience coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Bid Writing and Proposal Management, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and client‑focused content tailored to RFP/RFQ requirements.
  • Solid understanding of Bid Processes, including compliance checks, governance, and quality assurance for public and private sector tenders.
  • Relevant experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or design consultancy sectors; exposure to landscape architecture or lighting design bids is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; strong editing, formatting, and presentation skills.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent bids in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, PDF editing, project management or CRM tools).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with international and cross‑functional teams, with a solutions‑oriented and inclusive mindset.
What we offer
  • An opportunity to work with some of the World’s best design teams.
  • A vibrant, high‑end office, in the heart of London and Dubai.
  • Visits to the industry exhibitions and events.
  • Opportunity to grow professionally, within our team across our 2 offices in London and Dubai, as well as our sister studios in Milano and Barcelona.
  • Support in professional development and continuous growth, to boost your potential.
