Trade Operations Specialist

Our Global Trade Team is central to driving growth and collaboration across our international network—identifying opportunities, strengthening relationships, and connecting expertise across the business.

We are now looking to appoint a Trade Operations Specialist—a detail-oriented, data-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a varied and high-impact role, combining data analysis, stakeholder engagement and operational support. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, supporting pipeline growth, and ensuring the effective coordination of global trade initiatives.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and commercial opportunities
• Produce high-quality reports and dashboards for senior leadership
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests with accuracy and pace
• Support decision-making through analysis of sales performance and pipeline data

• Proactively identify and assess new business opportunities
• Engage with internal stakeholders to develop and progress opportunities
• Build strong relationships across the business to support collaboration and growth
• Track opportunities, referrals, introductions, and pipeline activity

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align global initiatives
• Facilitate collaboration across retail, wholesale and specialist teams
• Build strong working relationships with brokers, account teams and business units
• Present insights and updates in meetings with confidence and clarity
• Track actions, coordinate follow-ups and support internal introductions

• Identify and implement improvements to data and reporting processes
• Support adoption and effective use of tools and technology
• Maintain data integrity within CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Promote consistency and efficiency across workflows

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams
• Analytical mindset with experience working with and interpreting data
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization)
• Knowledge of Power BI, Snowflake (or similar), or Salesforce is advantageous
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
• Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Understanding of compliance and governance standards

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar role (insurance experience beneficial but not essential)
• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting
• Eligibility to work in the UK
