Senior Resource Manager

We’re looking for someone who won’t just maintain a working system, but define one. There’s currently no one looking at the wider, long-term operational functions of the business, and this role has a stated path to grow into an Operations Director position.

The work itself is high-velocity. Multi-format activations, broadcasts and installations for major international brands – the kind of work that shows up at the biggest tentpole events of the year.

You’ll own day‑to‑day resource allocation and time planning across projects, production and creative, working closely with the Creative Director and two Project Directors split across UK and US offices. You’ll forecast workloads, flag freelancer needs before they bite, and spot bottlenecks early.

The first three months are about stabilising: a 34‑person permanent team plus a freelancer pool that’s currently around 30 and fluctuates through the year. After that, the brief opens up – recommending and implementing a project management tool from scratch, automating manual Excel‑based processes, and delivering reporting that informs commercial decisions.

You’ve spent 4+ years in resource planning, traffic or studio management inside a creative agency – experiential or events ideally, though branding, design and advertising studios transfer well.

You’ve recommended and set up a project management tool before, and you’re genuinely comfortable manipulating data in Excel. You work well in a small, hands‑on, all‑in business rather than a heavily processed corporate one. A black book of freelancers is a bonus, too.
