Payroll Consultant - 8 month contract
- London
- Hybrid - up to £600 per day Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a renowned retailer, who are seeking a Payroll Consultant on a 8 month contract basis. You will be processing end to end UK & Irish payroll, while assisting with the implementation of US payroll. The Payroll Consultant will have the following skills:

Experience of processing end to end UK & Irish payroll Support the delivery of a global payroll transformation programme across the US, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives. Lead payroll process reviews, driving standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with internal stakeholders and third party payroll providers to implement new payroll processes and operating models. Coordinate payroll transition activities, including testing, parallel runs and go-live support.

Ensure payroll compliance with local legislative requirements across US jurisdictions. Develop and maintain payroll controls, process documentation and standard operating procedures. Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and key internal stakeholders to support service excellence. To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must:
Minimum of 5 years' hands on payroll experience across the UK, Ireland, and the US regions. Global payroll transformation exposure Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Be service driven, with a high accuracy and attention to detail Ability to organise and prioritise in a busy environment
