Royal Mail’s current enterprise technology landscape is fragmented, heavily customised, and nearing end‑of‑life, creating material risk to operations and compliance. Core ERP and associated SAP systems for Finance, HR and Commercial were implemented more than 20 years ago and are now approaching end‑of‑life with vendor support ending soon.
Programme OverviewThe multi‑year Future ERP Programme will implement SAP S/4
HANA, SAP Success Factors and SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) through a phased approach. The programme will first deliver Accelerated Finance, replacing out‑of‑life finance systems with a Minimum Viable Product that forms the foundation for subsequent phases, followed by Enhanced Finance, HR Core and Commercial Transformation.
