Risk & Assurance Advisor

Risk & Assurance Advisor – Salary: region of £40,000 depending on experience, plus car/allowance, bonus, and other Veolia benefits.

Location:

Mobile with travel to sites around South East & North.

• Actively support the business on Safety, Quality & Assurance matters by conducting regular site visits, assuring the business has the right standards and undertaking regular audits, including engagement visits.
• Monitor progress against site improvement plans for municipal collections, street cleaning, waste transfer stations, fleet workshops and an integrated waste management facility.
• Engage with teams, identify further improvements and provide solutions.
• Support the Municipal Risk & Assurance Manager in operations, and liaise with external stakeholders, regulators and customers.
• Provide clients with advice on industry best practices.

• Experience in a Safety Advisor role, ideally in waste management.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, or auditing experience.
• Strong ability to influence key stakeholders on site.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, providing customer service to internal and external customers.
