HANA. The Business Process Expert role partners with Business Process Owners and functional teams to design, govern, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes.
- Business Process Expert responsibilities: shape, measure, and continuously improve process elements to deliver business value; partner with the Business Process Owner (BPO) and other BPEs to manage current processes, define future end-to-end process vision and roadmap, ensure high-quality, user-centric processes, and drive transition from current to future state with governance and change delivery.
- Support the BPO in maximizing value delivery through performance management, adoption oversight, and continuous improvement activities to realise and sustain committed benefits.
- Exhibit strong leadership, deep understanding of business processes, communication, stakeholder engagement, project management, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Treasury Business Process Expert: understand Haleon’s Treasury operating model, assess current-state processes, identify standardisation, simplification and automation opportunities, and design robust future-state designs across cash positioning, liquidity, bank connectivity, payments and collections, bank accounts and master data governance, settlements, FX, hedging, intercompany flows, treasury accounting inputs, reporting and controls.
- Align Treasury design decisions with the wider Record-to-Decision framework and SAP S/4
HANA enablement, governance requirements, and existing Treasury platforms. - Ensure Treasury data flows are complete, controlled, and decision-useful to support accurate reporting, real-time visibility, risk management, and business partnering across Finance, Technology, Tax, Commercial and external banking partners.
- Leverage experience with SAP S/4
HANA, treasury management systems, bank connectivity platforms, data governance, reporting tools and transformation delivery to inform design, migration readiness, testing, adoption, and transition. - Design Plan and Coordination: collaborate with the BPO and functions to ensure design meets requirements; facilitate workshops; document to-be processes; evaluate as-is processes to identify bottlenecks; drive decisions through governance forums; coordinate with other areas and programmes.
- Readiness for Delivery: support Functional Leader in evaluating preparedness, identify gaps, propose solutions; assist change team with people implications and adoption interventions; create documentation for new processes; work with Training & Adoption teams on training.
- Managing Transition: partner with the Business Continuity Manager to establish interim operating states, design and implement interim processes, and plan transitions to permanent processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: foster relationships, ensure alignment, tailor communications, champion the process vision, and maintain effective feedback loops.
- Experience in complex, global organisations, ideally within Consumer Health or FMCG sectors. S4
HANA experience is an advantage. - Technical skills: strong analytical ability to analyse complex processes and identify inefficiencies; process-focused with ability to drive change; strong system understanding of data flows and information tools; applies governance to identify control gaps and design solutions.
- Reviews process performance (KPIs and SLAs) and adherence to policies and frameworks; project management skills to plan and execute process improvements; understanding of controls and compliance and risk management.
