• Develop and deliver new insight, integrating new data, analytical techniques, and innovative performance metrics for the portfolio.
• Provide data‑driven insights to modellers and pricing teams to inform rate adjustments and model improvements.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels and help shape strategic growth pathways.
• Lead Risk Selection projects and project teams to generate value for the wider business.
• Ensure alignment with underwriting governance and the company’s 4
  
  Cs culture.
• Maintain fair and reasonable customer outcomes, questioning processes that do not meet these expectations.
• Complete all mandated training, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and competence development for direct reports.

• 3–5 years in Pricing or Underwriting within insurance.
• Proficiency with numerical and statistical data analysis.
• Strong skills in statistical or data manipulation packages; aptitude for advanced skill development.
• Pro‑active approach to driving change and critically evaluating information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; confidence to express opinions and challenge assumptions.
• Experience in Finance Services pricing/analytics.
