Manager - Consumer Goods

Role Overview

This role primarily involves managing OC&C project teams of 3-6 consultants. While you will contribute to business development, your primary focus will be supporting Partners and driving repeat business through delivery excellence.

• Design analytical approaches across both quantitative and qualitative work streams on strategy and transaction projects, and manage team delivery
• Develop high-quality project deliverables (presentations and reports) in collaboration with the wider senior team
• Build strong relationships across OC&C and with clients, establishing a reputation as a trusted advisor within Consumer Goods
• Develop and coach junior team members both on and off projects
• Contribute to business development activities, including pitches and proposal development
• Support Consumer Goods sector initiatives to strengthen OC&C's position as a leader in strategy consulting in this space

• 4+ years' experience gained within an external strategy consultancy
• Excellent leadership capabilities and experience managing teams of 3+
• Experience with in Consumer Goods and/or closely related sectors (e.g., Retail, eCommerce, FMCG, Brand-led businesses)
• Structured, hypothesis-driven problem solver with strong analytical rigour and a track record delivering commercial due diligence, transaction support, and Consumer Goods strategy projects
• Pragmatic, delivery-focused communicator with high professional integrity, strong organisational skills, and the credibility to influence senior clients and colleagues in a collaborative, inclusive manner
• Strong academics and an outstanding track record of achieving and exceeding objectives
