Commercial & Operations Manager

Overview

Electric Car Leasing — Greener. Fairer. Future.

We’re looking for a sharp, commercially-minded generalist to help us scale our consumer electric vehicle leasing business. You’ll sit at the heart of our Consumer team, acting as a bridge between our ambitious growth goals and regulatory responsibilities as an FCA regulated business.

• Commercial Guardrails: Own the rules of the game for our consumer products. Ensure contracts and T&Cs are current, compliant, clear, and commercially sound.

• Problem Solving: Tackle edge‑case customer issues and business incidents. Build automation or process to prevent recurrence.

• Internal Consultant: First point of contact for FCA‑related questions. Support Marketing with approvals and Sales with guidance.

• Product Evolution: Work with Legal and Product to launch features, following a product governance path that is fast yet compliant.

• Background: Experience in Fintech, financial services startup, or fast‑scaling regulated business. Key role in launching or growing new products in a regulated context.

• Mindset: Play part in the transition to zero‑carbon driving. Identify and solve problems. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Consumer.

  Experience in a UK regulated consumer finance environment. Understanding of Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly without getting lost in the weeds.

• Generalist: Comfortable jumping from legal contract review to data reporting or training sessions.

• Tech‑first Approach: Prefer tech‑based solutions, automations and AI workflows over manual processes.

• Commercial and Pragmatic: Use regulation as a framework for trust while progressing at pace.

• Effective Communicator: Distill complex rules into simple instructions for those new to financial services.

• Bias to Action: Thrive in a fast‑paced scale‑up environment.
