As a Senior Insight and Strategy Analyst at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, you’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that shapes real decisions. Working in our Corporate Strategy team, you’ll help ensure everything we do is grounded in evidence, supporting our ambition to be a greener, safer and fairer borough for all.

You’ll be based in the borough for three days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you’re working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents’ lives.

Your work will be incredibly varied, ranging from deep‑dive data analysis to building strong, collaborative relationships across the entire organisation. You will lead corporate performance reporting, coordinate the submission of data and commentary, develop engaging narratives and stories from data, and lead analytical projects, including the development of our Data Network and Data and Insight hub. You’ll facilitate workshops focused on strategic thinking, create dynamic and accessible intelligence products such as Power BI dashboards and GIS‑based tools, and support other analysts in the team.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have evidence of continuing professional development relevant to this role. You should have exceptional analytical skills, experience working with large, unstructured datasets, and advanced statistical methodologies. Proficiency in Power BI, GIS, and advanced Excel is essential, as is the ability to learn new technologies quickly. You must be a storyteller with a curious mind, experienced in using analysis to inform strategic decisions, and an effective communicator for non‑technical audiences.
