Pensions Project Manager

Overview

Pensions Project Manager — London / Regions (1 day per week in local office). Up to £80,000 with a 20% bonus and a strong wider benefits package. This role is with a leading global consultancy to support complex Defined Benefit pension projects for large, high-profile clients across multiple industries.

• Deliver pension change projects end to end, including GMP equalisation, buy-in and buy-out readiness, benefit rectification, scheme mergers and wind ups.
• Take ownership of projects, manage stakeholders and lead project discussions in often complex and data-heavy environments.
• Collaborate with clients, administrators, actuaries and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Act in a client-facing capacity, driving outcomes and contributing to internal improvement initiatives to shape how projects are delivered across the wider team.

• Strong background in UK Defined Benefit pensions with experience in pensions administration, consultancy or actuarial environments.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams, navigate ambiguity and proactively solve problems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a track record of delivering projects to time and budget.
• Formal project management qualifications such as Prince2, APM or similar are beneficial but not essential.

Based in London or regions with a flexible hybrid model; 1 day per week in the nearest office. Locations available across the UK.
