Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a forward-thinking not for profit organisation and play a key role in delivering a compliant, efficient and data-driven procurement function. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will support the delivery of procurement exercises, provide expert commercial guidance and help strengthen governance, compliance and value-for-money outcomes
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting end-to-end procurement exercises, including tendering, evaluation, contract award and mobilisation. Ensuring procurement activity complies with relevant legislation, policies and best practice. Analysing spend, contract, supplier performance and compliance data to provide meaningful insights. Developing and maintaining procurement reporting, dashboards and assurance information for senior stakeholders. Supporting value-for-money initiatives and embedding social value considerations into procurement activities. Maintaining contract registers and monitoring contract renewals.
Assisting with supplier due diligence, risk management and contract performance monitoring. Providing practical procurement advice and guidance across the organisation. About You We are looking for a proactive and analytical procurement professional with experience of delivering or supporting procurement activity within a regulated, public sector, housing or similarly governed environment.
You will have:
Experience in a procurement or commercial role. Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly. Knowledge of procurement governance and regulatory requirements, with awareness of the Procurement Act 2023 advantageous. Experience supporting procurement exercises from planning through to award. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
CIPS qualification, active study towards CIPS, or equivalent procurement experience.
