Lloyd’s is seeking to recruit a Manager, Member Capital Systems to lead the data, systems and processes that underpin Funds at Lloyd’s requirements for our members. You'll play a pivotal role in capital setting, managing critical datasets, developing innovative reporting and analytics solutions, and ensuring the market has access to accurate, trusted information that supports informed decision‑making.

The

role

You’ll own the end‑to‑end management of the Member Capital data estate, ensuring the systems, tools and reporting processes that support capital setting remain accurate, robust and fit for the future. Working across Finance, Actuarial, Capital and Planning, and market stakeholders, you’ll help shape how capital data is collected, governed, analysed and delivered. You’ll also identify opportunities to improve efficiency through modern technologies and automation while maintaining the highest standards of data quality and control.

What you’ll be doing

Capital data and reporting
  • Lead the collection, validation and maintenance of syndicate capital data and related datasets.
  • Produce high‑quality management information and regulatory reporting for internal governance forums and external stakeholders.
  • Own and continuously improve the Lloyd’s Capital Return process and associated data collection platforms.
  • Develop reporting, validation and audit tools that strengthen data quality and support effective decision‑making.
  • Support quarterly and annual regulatory and rating agency submissions.
Systems, analytics and innovation
  • Manage and enhance the systems, databases and reporting tools that support member capital activities.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, data transformation and modern analytics solutions.
  • Maintain capital oversight reporting tools and data repositories.
  • Support the delivery of accurate capital data into the Lloyd’s Internal Model.
  • Provide technical expertise across capital‑related projects and initiatives.
Market and stakeholder engagement
  • Partner with managing agents and market participants to implement reporting changes and improve data quality.
  • Respond to capital‑setting queries and provide clear analysis and guidance.
  • Support new market entrants through the capital modelling process.
  • Represent Member Capital within data governance and stewardship forums.
  • Deliver demonstrations, training and technical support to internal and external users.
Leadership and collaboration
  • Act as a technical expert and trusted point of contact for the wider team.
  • Support the development of analysts across Member Capital and the wider Predictive Analytics team.
  • Help coordinate team priorities, workloads and key delivery milestones.
  • Contribute to recruitment, capability development and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll bring
  • Strong experience working with large, complex datasets and data management processes.
  • Experience using Power BI, Power Query, Python and Access to deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Experience developing, maintaining or improving business‑critical systems and processes.
  • The ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with experience delivering change and driving efficiencies.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working across technical and non‑technical teams.
  • Experience with in insurance, reinsurance, London Market or financial services environments (would be beneficial).
  • Knowledge of capital modelling, prudential regulation or non‑life insurance capital frameworks.
  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting or governance processes.
  • Exposure to data governance, data stewardship or data quality initiatives.
