Job Description Would you like to play your part in driving sustainable change at a global level?

In this role, you will co-shape and lead innovative initiatives that focus on decarbonising materials and encouraging sustainable growth for The LEGO Group. You will manage key relationships with strategic partners, scout emerging trends, and support high-level sustainability agendas. Collaborate with internal teams to build future strategies and contribute to impactful change both within and beyond the organization.

Core Responsibilities
  • Co-shape and drive 2–3 key pivotal initiatives in a portfolio of external ecosystem engagement, aiming at enabling sustainable growth for The LEGO Group in the long-term decarbonising our materials.
  • Key account manage external relationships with key strategic partners.
  • Systematically scout and engage with new trends and potential partners relevant to our change strategy and targets.
  • Support the Senior Director and Chief Sustainability Officer on agenda and positioning at key high-level events.
  • Assist across the team in shaping and evolving current and future system change strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, notably material strategy, public affairs and communication.

What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area for understanding societal development.
  • Proven track record that includes multistakeholder brokerage and partnership building as part of a wider change strategy, with solid sustainability knowledge.
  • Excellent relationship and collaboration skills, building rapport and trust with partners to ensure long-term collaboration, and the ability to understand partners’ interests and aspirations.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—verbal, visual, and written, including creating visually compelling PowerPoint slides for larger audiences.
  • Evolved strategic thinking and discernment to ensure alignment with organisational goals and dynamics in the market, as well as power relations between key partners.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict-resolution and expectation-management skills.
  • Bravery to build rapport with senior partners and stamina to excel in challenging internal and external interactions.
  • A self-starter with strong ownership of work streams and project-management ability.
  • Ability to travel 40–60 days annually.
