Position: Senior Product Manager @ giffgaff - 18 Month FTC
Location: Greater London

Role Overview

As Senior Product Manager for the Identity domain at giffgaff, you will own the vision, strategy, and outcomes for one of the business’s most important platform capabilities.
Identity sits at the heart of the member experience, enabling secure access, protecting customer trust, and supporting sustainable growth. In this role you will define the long‑term direction of the product area, balancing commercial opportunities, security priorities, regulatory requirements, and member needs to deliver meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the vision, strategy and outcomes for the Identity platform.
  • Define the long‑term direction of the product area, balancing commercial opportunities, security priorities, regulatory requirements, and member needs.
  • Influence investment decisions and shape senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives across engineering, security, data, legal, and commercial teams.
  • Drive the evolution of the identity ecosystem to remain scalable, trusted, and fit for the future.
  • Support product excellence, mentoring and fostering a culture of accountability, experimentation and continuous improvement across the wider product community.
  • Make trade‑offs between speed, quality, risk and value.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience owning and leading complex product domains and long‑term product strategy.
  • Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and shaping investment decisions.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product specifications and outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of balancing customer needs, business objectives, risk, and platform scalability.
  • Experience with in identity, authentication, fraud prevention, or trust‑related product areas.
  • Strong data literacy with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative insight to inform decisions.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing Product Managers.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, experimentation and evolving product practices.
  • Ability to drive alignment across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
