A newly established UK subsidiary of a leading Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting an E-commerce Operations Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day e-commerce operations, managing Amazon and Shopify platforms, and supporting the launch and growth of the UK and European online business. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on e‑commerce experience, particularly with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and/or Shopify, and be comfortable working in a fast‑changing start‑up environment.
MainResponsibilities
- Take ownership of the company's day‑to‑day e‑commerce operations
- Manage and continuously improve Amazon and Shopify platforms
- Maintain online product listings, content, pricing and marketplace performance
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience
- Support the launch and continued growth of the UK and European online business
- Undertake a wide variety of evolving responsibilities as the business develops
- Minimum 2 years of proven hands‑on experience managing Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and/or Shopify
- Strong practical knowledge of e‑commerce operations is essential
- Experience launching, establishing or developing e‑commerce operations would be highly advantageous
- Experience working within a start‑up or newly established subsidiary is preferred
- Business level English is must, and business level of German and/or French
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership in an evolving environment
- Able to make informed decisions independently and adapt to changing business needs
- Flexible, resilient and open to taking on new responsibilities as the business grows
- Strong team player who is excited to help shape a brand‑new office culture

Office Based (subject to consultation with the employer, there may be possibility of partly from home after further evaluation) - Salary:
Approximately £35,000 per annum (negotiable, depending on experience) - Employment Type:
Permanent, Full‑time - Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm (TBC) - Start Date:
